The actuated butterfly valve allows a hygienic butterfly valve to be opened and closed remotely and automatically by a pneumatic actuator with a stainless steel body. Operating with 4–7 bar air pressure, the actuator is offered as single acting (spring return) or double acting in sizes 85, 108 and 133 and is suitable for DN25–DN200 butterfly valves. With threaded, clamp and welded connection options it is used in food, beverage, dairy, pharmaceutical and cosmetic lines.
